Subject: I love Imperial Drag!!
I saw Imperial Drag in Dallas, both at the "bring on the weekend party"
and at the Orbit Room.
The "bring on the weekend party" is a party a local radio
station has every Friday!! They were interviewed on the radio with
members of Super8 and they played some of the cd and discussed it...
..it was so fun! Eric was hilarious(as always) and after the concert,
had a chance to talk to Roger for awhile, I had met him backstage at
Jellyfish/Black Crowes before, what a great person he is!!
It is so wonderful to see Roger and Eric doing something they so
obviously love and I hope this band gets all the recognition it
deserves!! Hope they come back to Dallas real soon....we miss 'em
already!

Subject: Jun 28th show
I saw Imperial Drag at The Orbit Room in Deep Ellum in June. They
completely blew me away. The sound was fantastic and it was the best
live performance I've seen by any band this year. I spoke with Roger
after the show for a little while but I was so excited to meet him that
my brain locked up and I couldn't seem to say anything intelligent.
After this dis-heartening experiance I collected myself and tried my
luck with Eric D. He's very personable, we spoke of guitars, effects,
and believe it or not, good places to eat in Dallas. By the way the
free standing effect pedal he uses in there opener is a delay unit.
I hope they come back to Dallas soon I'd love to get the opportunity to
talk with Roger again. I don't think I'll be so tongue-tied the next
time.
