I found this site through a search engine that described Imperial Drag as being a "pop outlet from the Original leader of Jellyfish, Eric Dover". I am sure that most of you know better. I guess that the creator of this site must not know much about Jellyfish, which is fine. I just want to make sure that credit is given where credit is due. Eric Dover is not only NOT even an ORIGINAL member of Jellyfish, but he never even appeared on a Jellyfish album. He joined AFTER the Spilt Milk tour as a guitarist. The only vocals he did were on back-ups. The very gifted Andy Sturmer and Roger Manning created Jellyfish and it's music. Jellyfish is no longer because those two guys split up. It had nothing to do with ANYONE else. That's all.... Thanks.

Im nu 2 this "www-net" contraption, and I couldn't get into any jellyfish sites for some reason. So I checked out this site.ID seems like anatural progression from JF(although they r 2 different groups!!) and I don't see how any1 can like 1 without the other !So my question is whats next?

Y'KNOW...? Every time I think that "Oh, I'll bet all those old I.D. fans have given up on us & our moldy, crusty'ol website..." but, such is not the case. WHAT THE FUCK, YOU GUYS!?! People will say we're in love...er sumpthin'. Sorry 'bout the lengthy pause in transmissions lately. (Sigh) I've,uh... been sort of uh,...down lately. Yup. Icky was sad. Life, as of late, has not been great for Ick. (although I have had some fun times lately with my Girlfriend & our friend Lisa Rieffel, who you might know from the CBS T.V. show "King of Queens"-we get wacky sometimes -STOP THAT!-I know what yer thinkin' n' it ain't right, although thanks for giving me so much credit, man-wise!). Other than that though, It's been a long year. The Tories thing fell through. No prospects for band members. WORKING! You KNOW how much THAT sucks! All in all, not a good time. Who knows? 1999 - Any better?-?-? God I sure hope so. O.K.,so; EMMA! How's the weather in Manchester this time of year,eh? Pissing rain & cold? That's how I remember it, anyway. I think I remember you from our show there! I can't believe you remember me setting up my gear without my band!(actually, it was quite fortuitous for me because I was getting paid something like $250. a gig to set up my stuff-mainly because my usual drum tech was out with another act that week while we were in the U.K.,so our road manager told me they could either hire another tech, or I could do it & make the cash. So being the mercenary I am (and considering the fact that we were about to go to JAPAN right after the U.K.-all those TOYS!), I decided to give up the "rock-star" vibe & go fer the dough!) So, that's why you saw me doing that. I was gettin' paid good dinero for what I usually do at home for free anyway. Tell all of our Brit-fans I said "UP YER BUM,YA CUNTYBOLLOCKS!"(I mean that only in the nicest of all possible ways, of course!) -AMELIA! Oh My GOD! Where have you been? I saw Robert Kelly the other day (two months ago) and he said you were working for some production company or something!? Oh, and yes, SPARKS were RAD! I could've done without the Euro-disco versions of my faves but, it was great to see the Maels in action again! I am going to E-mail you at your adress, but just in case, PLEASE call me at my home # (same as it ever was..) -if you even read this, that is! (For those of you not in the know, Amelia is a very dear friend of mine whom I've known for years now -since back in the Jellyfish days! I haven't seen or heard from her since our very last show at the Billboard live! club (sob!)-odd, because both band and club are no longer with us!) I miss you & hope to see you soon! Lastly, I'd like to give a shout out to my very good friend Sandi Shorter (official I.D. surrogate girlfriend, little sister, & Mascot) who was kind enough to visit us folk out here in sunny So.Cal. back around Halloween time. We actually went out trick'er treatin' with all of my goulish pals. And a shout out to all of my "peeps": Adam ("Wussup?"), I.D.luv (Our biggest Fan - don't forget it!), Icklvr ( Don't kick the baby!), and especially, TIGER (who all of you dragolic silicon-surfers owe your livelihoods to!) who started this whole amazing circus! What is your problem? *thwack!* just because you're a musician doesn't mean you're not entitled to occaisonal WORK! Okay, so you thought that being on the WORK label counted... it did. But now you're a "normal" person again and it shouldn't HURT. Besides, your woes sound too much like mine! And another thing, musicians have WAAAY too much "inside joke" stuff going on ... not even us OTHER musicians get it.
Otherwise, HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I finally got a job! (much laughter from all readers here) after 3 months of lookin(for a job repairing guitars) i now work as a Host in a restaurant making $7 an hour for "women's work". I'm working on a concept album and I'm in the middle of recording our 1st album (not the concept album!). Why am i writing this? I forgot! You gave a shout to me! That's right. That made my day. Thank you for being cool and writing even if there is no big news. My predictions for 1999, Icky will join a band and go on the road (which will make him very happy because drummers are only happy when they're touring and playing) Eric will release an album in late 1999 and we will all buy it and be surprised even though we were expecting to be surprised. Roger will continue to Record with Beck and will eventually get writing credit with Beck on a minor hit song, doing him and charlotte MUCH good, money-wise. Joe will be "up to several things" which we will all want to hear! Those are my predictions! ICKY email me, you blue collar bastad!
