Hello all! I have been in contact with the folks that will be releasing the "Eric Dover, BC" CD in a couple of months. Soon, all of you who are interested in buying this CD will be able to and have something cool to add to your collections. I am writing for several reasons. One is to let you know what you need to do to get a CD reserved for you. The other is to answer some the questions stated by a couple of list members. So first and foremost here is what you will need to do to reserve a copy of this CD when it is released: Send me you e-mail me with the e-mail address that you can be contacted at and put "Eric Dover, BC CD" in the subject line. I will then compile all of the addresses I get and send them to the people who are releasing the CD. Once the CD is ready they will contact all who are interested with a mass e-mail and let you know all the details and where you can send the money for the CD and how much it will cost. I have heard some of the songs and I must say Jellyfish fans will not be disappointed!! Most of the songs sound like Jellyfish by way of Squeeze. A little bit of the Black Crows and The Beatles are thrown in too for good measure. The CD will also include a song that is on the Imperial Drag demos tape that is circulating around. Only this version predates ID's obviously, and has a different bridge than the ID version. Now for the info I have on the band: The musicians and writers on the material are: Chris Baker - Guitar/Bass/Vocals, Tony Brock - Vocals/Keys, Eric Dover - Guitar/Vocals/Bass, and Scott Collier - Drums from the now defunct band Brother Cane. The songs were written by Chris, Eric and Tony and shopped around the time that the first Jellyfish record came out. I will be awaiting everyone's e-mail. ROCK OUT! Mark S.
For anybody who cares, we finally got our website decent. And yes, I am kinda ID influenced.Superhype Adam
