Hello everybody It's the little bass player here. First I just wanted to thank EVERYBODY for caring about this band in anyway, shape or form. It was a honor for me to be a part of it and I'm truly sad it's gone. But c'est la vie. We must all move on. I just wanted to clear a couple things up that I've read on various comments and such. First, The name Imperial Drag is no more. Any splinter groups involving any of the members of Imperial Drag will be considered new bands that won't be answers to Imperial Drag. No matter what happens in the future that name is no more (RIP). Second, there will be no release of any E.P. of any of the new material we had recorded. We only had two songs any where close to done and those still needed additonal recording and arranging. And we only had basic rhythm tracks to a few others so they were FAAAAR from being done. So we're sorry but what you got is what you get. I wish there was more. As for myself I've been writing, recording and gigging with my once side-project, Gracie, around L.A. and am also working on session work that comes my way. But with the exception of those few corrections, the information on Tiger's "What Happened" page is accurate. We all move on slowly but surely and there will be much more music coming from us all in the not too distant future. Just remember, everything happens for a reason. So thanks again for all the support and interest and if there are any further questions, just ask and either myself or Icky will answer them as soon as possible. Vaya con Dios, Amigos. Joe.
Just got this from Eric Dover:"
As for the questions surrounding the band's demise, simply tell those who are enquiring the following. Mind you, this is my position on the matter only, for I wish nothing but happiness to Roger, Joe and Eric S. and I know that there are mixed opinions about who claims responsibilty for the breakup.
The truth is it was a mutual descision between Roger and I. Oy vey! these things happen! for it is certainly an instinctual medium, of which sometimes means parting from things not because of anything but to get the feeling of reworking the canvas from time to time...a practice most artists get the more concrete results from, it should be mentioned.
To all the listeners, give them my best felt thanks for listening and that while there is not an Imperial Drag anymore is no reason to be disheartened, for I expect wonderful things from all of us in the future in everyone's special talented way.
As for my present assignment from rightbrainnia, It is going nicely. The key of C# is but one player in this new set of demos I'm currently working on. There is a great degree of interest in the monochord as well. Now of course, I would not be one to spoil the surprise, so I desist from giving too much away about it right now.
I leave you for now with this.. ******************* I am the owner of the sphere, Of the seven stars and the solar year, Of Ceasar's hand and Plato's brain, Of lord Christ's heart and Shakespeare's strain. EmersonUntil next we speak O Frendicus,

Hello fellow Jellyheads/ID fans. This news of the breakup is sad but no suprise whatsoever. Just about every one of my favorite bands has broken up (Jellyfish,ID,Grays,Posies?,Toy/3rd Matinee,Extreme, etc.) What can we do but go on and wait for the next good album? This may be a crazy mix, but how about Nuno and Roger? How intersting would that be?(His solo album is great by the way) Also, a new band,Coward, which Roger played for, is very good. Oh well, Hold your heads up! Bye Bye Bye!
OK! I didn't have any money, so my friend bought the Moog Cookbook's 1st album last night. And I nearly coughed up blood from laughing so hard. And we listened to a promo copy of the new classic rock Moog album. It's also really cool. Mark Mothersbaugh (from DEVO!) plays on it and i was quite amused by that, being a closet Devo fan from childhood myself. I should have known Rog was a fan, too. I have to buy at least the 1st moog album ASAP! I was wondering in case Roger ever checks this site... Have you ever heard of the Moog Blaster? (i think that's the name) For those of you who still love GUITAR rock (such a passe` phrase!) check out my website http://members.tripod.com/~Ell3n/index.html We love you, may God be with you, goodnight! -Adam
Joe- you got some funny cool sounds on this album. How'd ya do it? I think I'm wondering in particular about "Salvation Army Band".
I heard this story about Eric being in a Van Halen tribute band as a trio. Yes, Eric was singing AND playing all that Eddie Van Halen shit AT THE SAME TIME! I don't know if it's true. I just thought y'all should know. Love, Adam
Hey ID !!! How unbelievabily pants is this break up . Anyway I wish you all the luck in the future and remember to keep us posted on future stuff . ID will always be the greatest!
Hey , did anyone know that the new album by "Talk Show" was mixed by Jack Joseph Puig??? Has anyone heard it? Is it any good??? ID IZ LIFE!!!!!!!!!
