Sorry to report this but it looks like Australia is out. The record just hasn't done well enough down under. The good news is that there will be at least one or two more singles from the album so if those songs hit big in Australia, you might see them there in '97!
I'd like to know how the band knows Brad Jones and if he will be producing the next record. Perhaps the band will record a country album with him in Nashville. Also, if Tim Smith is playing with Sheryl Crow, are the Umajets still around? Their CD is excellent... if you like I.D. Jellyfish et al. you will want to pick up Demolotion. Highly reccomended. I like it especially because all the songs are about me! :p
I've got the umajets also, and it rocks. The best track is the one that Roger helped write. It's got an excellent piano solo with fish-like harmonies. I too would reccomend this most excellent album
This is so UNFAIR. I can't believe they aren't coming here. I have been hoping and praying, and now its not even going to happen. I am so upset about this. No decent bands have been here for so long, unless you count Everclear, or Garbage, and I most certainly do NOT! Im so sad now. I spoke to my freind in New Orleans the other day and she had just seen them in Baton Rouge, and she said they were excellent. It makes me even sadder. I think I will go Into my bedroom now, and play Imperial Drag at full blast, and think about what might have been.........
At last, they come to Japan next month. I'm really looking forwrd to it. I've been waiting for the day since I found thir album in May. I hope they would visit Australia, soon too.

I have to say I am very impressed by the bands single: boy or a girl. I intend to go and watch them play at the riverside in Newcastle. They are like a breath of fresh air in todays charts which are cramed with 60's rip off's etc.
I recently hung with Roger and Joe. They're great guys! I have a small delema though. Roger has my number but I'm moving and he's unaware. I need concert tour info for the U.S. If you have some PLEASE leave it over the net! By the way, if your thinking "Why" about the call, he has twice and I miss him!
