To Andy & Roger: Hey guys, I still keep Spilt Milk and Bellybutton in constant "most listened to" rotation along with all my Beatle albums. The musical genious displayed in these albums is breathtaking and I long for a third release. Andy, the Merrymakers are cool and all but your talent is being wasted there. Roger, Odelay was pretty cool but the follow up was a bore and you too have so much more to give than being "El Perdedor's" back up. Dam it guys ! I swear I'd pay up to $100 for 5 or six new Jellyfish tracks. I mean it ! Seriously ! You guys were the shit ! Get over your differences ! Call up Jason while you're at it. Let him contribute too... he's dam good and you know it. Roger, give a big shout out to your brother and let him know you're putting the band back together. Thanks.
Hellooooo!(Seinfeld)-- ICKY -You are sucha motherf***er! I was just listening to my (proud to be the owner of an original) ID EP, and man, you boys could rock. Just wanted to tell all that I saw Mr. Dover perform for the first time, and he was wonderful. It was a big sendup of Glam Rock at THE GIG in Hollyweird (and it was really weird!)called Glamnation, including Eric Singer (yet ANOTHER very fine drummer!), adn that zany guy Ryan Roxie (done up with silver nipples and makeup-alrighty then...), who are to be touring with "The Coop" in a couple of weeks..Eric sang most of the toons-"All the Young Dudes "was my favorite. They also did nice versions of "Fox on the Run", "Hot Child in the City", and "Ziggy Stardust". I would've liked to hear some T Rex and perhaps "Ballroom Blitz", but who's complaining. It was fun, and the crowd was almost as entertaining as the bands...They will be back this Sunday, but it is the last show. Try to get out there if ya can and support our buddy Eric Dover. He is a good man! It will surely be crowded if this past Sunday is any indication! ICKY, DUDE! I am sooo thrilled to hear that you are playing with Dale-she is so cool.Yes, you have big shoes to fill, but both of us know how you got this gig! You are a kick ass drummer, man! That's it! Hey, I really wanted to meet Eric, but, interestingly enough he was nowhere to be found before or after the set. Probably went home to his wife. Good for him. I admire that-(not MY scene either, man!)he looked like he'd been working out-really fit. Cool... I am raving-sorry to go on so. It has been awhile-want to say to ACE..Dude, you are like me-a dreamer. I was just discussing missing Andy Sturmer, and suggested that a reunion could happen -Hey, let's start a rumour, and maybe the lines of communication will open up! HAHA! I don't see Jason participating..They would probably use Lyle Workman (or somone else), but I could see Tim Smith doing it, if he can work it out w. Ms. Crow (hey, it is a good gig!).. ICKY, I am really thrilled for you-Happy Birthday! I think I will be at Jon Brion's show on friday, but if not, I will get down to see you-I am in Newport, so it's not that far for me.If not, I will definitely be at the Whisky show on 9/3!! I can gabba gabba hey, can't I tho'?? Hi ICKLVR ! Email me sometime, huh ? Good to know that the list wasn't dead-it was just napping for awhile! Regards and cool jams!, Wonderbass Tom (aka Fretless) ;>0 - aka big mouth!
