Don't get me wrong, i love Jellyfish as much as the next guy, but let's let that corpse rest. I have news for all of our devoted converts! We ARE making another record! I am unfortunately unable to divuldge any information regardingthis project, as I am sworn to secrecy.I can tell you this though, expect the unexpected. it's not your mother's Imperial Drag anymore. Those with back problems or heart conditions and expectant mothers may not ride. Protocol dictates that I say no more on this issue. Be afraid. Be very afraid. A mountain-sized amount of kudos go out to our new unofficial [soon to be official] ambassador of All Things Imperial in the wonderful country of Japan. I'm speaking, of course, of the lovely, the talented, you know her, you love her...SATOMI TAKASHIMA! If you haven't already seen the two comic books she has created, [one is of the band's history, the other of our tour in Japan] you simply must e-mail her and have her send you a copy! Nobody has documented this band's brief, but glorious history with as much style, humor, and affection as Satomi. Many thanks and love go out to her. It seems the rumour-mongers have been up to no good, once again, and I seem to have been the grist for the mill. About a month ago, I was surprised to find out from some friends that Imperial Drag had broken up, and I was the new drummer for Alanis Morissette's band! I had to decline their congratulatory wishes and confess nothing could be further from the truth. Imperial Drag was in full swing, and the last time I spoke to Ms. Morissette was in Japan and she never mentioned anything about drum try-outs. Although I am just visiting this website through a friend's system, I receive all of your e-mail transmissions, as do all of the other members. We love reading the wacky, psychotic shit that you guys write. Hello All! I Just picked up the debut Cd by a band called "Coward" on which Roger plays keyboard on several of the songs. It is a GREAT album. I strongly suggest all list members to go pick up a copy of the CD. IMPORTANT NOTE: It DOES NOT sound like Jellyfish! It has more of an Imperial Drag feel to it but doesn't really sound like Imperial Drag either. It does have cool harmony parts and Roger's keyboard stuff is simple, but AWESOME as usual. So with that said, run to your nearest record store and pick up a copy. If anyone else has heard this album, I am interested to hear what you think about it. All I know is that it seems to get better and better with every listen. Mark Strong
