to: pub@wisp.com....i read your message. i was curious myself as to whether icky was starting any kind of battle that he "may not have the physical stamina to finish" or not...so i read his message again, and sure enough, he didn't seem to be starting any "battle." is there a war going on that us dragaholics are not aware of?! if so, perhaps you're the only one fighting any battles or losing any wars. and who are you to make statements like that about icky's stamina? it's over, friend. in case you don't get it IMPERIAL DRAG AS A BAND IS BROKEN UP! this web site is for their fond memory and for updates of the activities of the remaining members, which (by his choice, mind you) does NOT include dover. it is NOT a battle ground. the fans needed to know the truth, icky told the truth. i find it quite noble of him to do so; to tell the truth so that so many fans were not left hanging, hoping for a reunion and treading water in a sea of rumours about the break-up, demos, etc. this is a website of love, go pick fights with someone else if you really want a confrontation. take you agression elsewhere, please.
I live in England and missed Imperial Drags only UK performance. I feel awful. If there are any Imperial Drag Fans in the UK post up a message and I will try to reply. I live in Essex so I doubt if there will be a reply (sob, sob).
gosh, was i mad? sorry about that! i guess it was a bad day, talk about aggressive, huh? i really didn't mean all of that the way it sounded pub@wisp. really, i apologize sincerely. i get edgy sometimes. don't listen to me what do i know?! i'm just an avid fan, i guess. now i'm really embarassed! scratch what i said, please, where's the delete button anyway?!
So anyone know what Eric Dover is doing NOW?Inquiring minds want to know
Damn my luck! A friend just recently turned me on to jellyfish, which in turn lead me to discover Imperial Drag plus Jason Faulkner and Moog Cookbook! Ive bought more Cd's in the past moth than in the last couple of years! And of course, I will never get to see Jellyfish or Imperial Drag now! DAMN! The first song I ever heard was "Breakfast by Tiger" which immediately lodged itself firmly in the Groovus Addictus portion of my brain. In my opinion, practically a perfect song. One of the most kick ass bass lines ever known to man, drums from another world and an allaround groove, melody and tastyness so rarely found in music! It still goes on "repeat" in the old player quite a bitt gets inside me and kicks me from the inside out! As a guitarist/singer, I humbly offer my services to this band should they ever consider an unknown like me! Hey what have you got to lose guys? Only the time it takes for an audition! I look forward to any projects including any or all of ID members! Roger is THE MAN! Eric Skodis and Joe Karnes seem like a perfect triumverate with Roger! Between Jellyfish, ID, and moog cookbook, Roger Manning is personally responisible for the depletion of my checking account!
That was kinda rude...sorry. I just think that Eric was riding Rogers' coat tails and for him to dis the band like that was totally lame. Jason Flakner rules!
Oops! F-a-l-k-n-e-r that is... by the way, anyone going to the International Pop Overthrow Festival?
aw shit, pop overthrow here we come. Jason is playing, Lollipop Factory is playing, and who else....(?)...it should be rad! Lots of nifty bands, hopefully more cool ones will sign on. might see you thre, ACe?
