I just want to say that Imperial Drag is one of the best bands in the world,and I don't understand how they could just not be one of the most popular bands in the U.S. But I guess I am glad they are not, because the untrue fans who only care about fashion would try to take them and change them and say they love them and all that stuff, but they don't...does anyone know what I mean? Saw Imperial Drag open for Alanis on 6/1/96 at the Gorge at George, Washington. Both shows blew me away, my sister can now sing Breakfast by Tiger and Spyder backwards I have photos I'll try to send of the guys onstage (taken from 11th row, not shabby!!!)
Hello Jessica! I know exactly what you are talking about. There is nothing I HATE more than people who just likes groups and styles because everyone else does. It is not fair to the musicians and their true fans,especially for a band such as Imperial Drag. ROCK ON TRUE DRAGSTERS EVERYWHERE!!!!

I was curious to hear Slash's Snakepit, so I borrowed a copy of the album from a friend. I must say that Eric's vocals are much better with Imperial Drag. (Not that he sounded bad with Slash's Snakepit). His vocal ability is put to better use with Imperial Drag. And besides, the music is MUCH better. I can't wait to hear the new album!!!
Hi Jessica! I would also agree with you. The last thing we need is a bunch of idiots coming to the Imperial Drag shows that are not really into the band. I'm a big fan of Redd Kross and recently saw them play a show in Toledo. I had a couple of idiots standing in front of me playing air-guitar the entire time. They were obnoxious! They were not familiar with any of the band's older material. They were not true fans. The last thing I want to see happen is some idiot standing in front of me at an Imperial Drag show playing air-guitar or keyboards because it's the COOL thing to do and not because they like the band. Thanks, but NO thanks!
Can I get an Amen Stewart!!! Though I hope the Drag have a long a successful career, I hope they don't turn into a Blues Traveler or Dave Mathews band, where everyone jumps on the band wagon after a hit song. I rather enjoy how personal these the guys are after the shows. I am in total agreement with you guys! P.S. Tiger, Any word on any Moog Cookbook Videos or goodies like that?

I must admit that when I bought Imperial Drag a few months ago I immediately made the Jellyfish comparison. I'm sure Eric and Roger get alot of slack for leaving such a great band. I thought they were crazy myself. My point....I'm sick of everyone comparing the two bands. In my opinion they both kick ass. They're really two different styles of music. I'm glad to see that there is some TRUE drag fans out there. By the way, can someone give me an email address for the fanclub. I sent my check away for that about a month and a half ago and haven't heard a word. I tried the fanclub email address on this page but never got a response. I want my fricken shirt!!!!! Unfortunately I just found this page so this may be outdated. I saw and really heard Imperial Drag for the first time at Summerfest when they played a small stage. All I must say is the crowd was small, the intensity high, and the band completely blew me away. These guys had a noticeable chemisrty on stage.
JELLYFISH IS A GREAT A BAND, BUT I THINK THAT IMPERIAL DRAG WILL GET ALOT FARTHER AND REACH ALOT MORE PEOPLE BECAUSE OF THEIR UNIVERSAL SOUND AND QUALITY.

I like Imperial drag almost as much as jellyfish. But has anyone heard from Andy Sturmer??? Is he making a solo album.Is he in a new band? and IS ANDY STURMER GOING TO COME AND KICK SOME ASS. Sturmer is better than most singers. He should not be forgoten. I'm sick who all these Smashing Pumpkins Losers. Imperial drag,jellyfish and jason falkner are much better than most or all main stream bands. People are afraid of hearing good music or something. spread the word about these Bands. And if anyone does not like it that you like jellyfish or imperial drag. just kick there ass!!!!!!!!

Eric Dover will not be in Slash's new group. He is 100% Imperial Drag. Thay are recording tracks for the new album right now.

The CD I listen to the most is the Drag.....all of the people I make listen to you guys are fans now. Thanks so much. I Haven't heard such original and fresh music since the Beatles. Can't wait for more.........
Steve: A lot of people have said that they had to wait a long time for their Fan Club packets. All I can say is, "Hang in there!" Mine took a couple of months to get to me but it was well worth the wait so try to be patient.
