Hola Compadres, it's Joe the Bass Player returning from a long hiatus from the computer. It's been too long. It's nice to see you people still care. You honor us all with your good thoughts. As for me, I've been busy playing as much music as I can get my hands on. I've been playing with my band Gracie (You really hear Steely Dan in there Icky?), playing with some friends of mine in a band called Vitamin B (soon to hit the streets of L.A., occasionally playing with a singer/songwriter named David Rice, who has an album coming out on Columbia this month (great stuff, ala early Peter Gabriel. check it out people), among other less defined projects. Guess I've been a little bit of a bass slut. Just wanted to answer a few questions and stuff. First off, Rhea, we apologize for breaking up. May your bus carry you to the ends of the earth. Part B: Adam, we used every trick in the book to get those sounds, using combos of drum kits, mike configurations, every and anything to get a big sound. The key is in combinations. ID Luv, thanks always for your great messages. I just listened to "Overnight Sensation" and couldn't find the whisper you were talking about. Whatever that sound you heard was, I'm sure it wasn't "cheeseburger". To everyone else, thanks for the thoughts and concern. We'll be checking in and putting out music in some form or other soon. Hey Dragaholics!!!!! thanx for checkin in Joe, by the way, I'm a total stupid-head, the whispering is in "Stare Into The Sun" Duhhhhhhh maybe now you'll be able to let me know what the heck it says. I just have to say it's pretty damn cool that you all keep in touch.
