O.K..This is it. The moment you all have been waiting for. MISSION TO MARS (The band,NOT the movie) is here! The project I have been slaving over a hot mixing board to bring you since I.D. bit the dust in '97, is finally done! The flagship of this project is www.missiontomars,com. It is slated to be up & running by march 1st, 2000. It is (hopefully) everything you could possibly want out of a website. Music. Bios. Info. Pictures. Bulletin boards. Interviews. links. It is my future. Please feel free to check it out at your leisure. I can now officially close the chapter of my life as "the drummer of Imperial Drag".This is the next chapter. The next "act",if you will. And in respect to the cinematic namesake, I have only this to say; a coincidence. Bad timing. Who knew? and,I HAD THE FUCKING NAME FIRST! (in fact, I offered it up to the band (I.D.) when we had no name, and it was vetoed!) It was just my luck. Typical. But, I will not be bitter or defensive. This is a musical endeavour. Their's is a movie. I can only hope that they will be gracious about it. Besides, there have been MANY bands that shared names with films;The Mission, Rush, Supergrass, Black sabbath, Public enemy, The Untouchables, to name a few. I will not let this deter me. I am currently talking to "record people" about the next step in my musical career.Keep your fingers crossed. It's gonna be interesting at the very least! I hope Tiger will keep this site up, as I'm listing this site in my links page. I once again give all of my love to all the undying and faithful fans of our poor, short-lived band. It was fun. It was amazing. It was a time in my life I'll never, ever forget. I can only hope that the next experience will be as good. I think it will. Hell, it took me long enough! The most important thing is that this time, it's all in my hands. That in itself is satisfying enough. I hope you dig it! Please remain seated! -ICKY

Look, man, I don't know if you're really the guy from drag, but you need to lay off on the Eric Dover thing. Was he not a great singer/guitarist? Don't argue with me on this one, alright? I've heard him on Jellyfish, Snakepit, and Drag. Do you think we care that David Lee Roth was too hard for Van Halen to get along with? I don't care. All I know is that after Roth left, they lost their heavy sound. After Slash left GNR, well, you know. Anybody who puts their personal bullshit ahead of the music doesn't need to be there in the first place. Now I have looked and looked and haven't found a single word of Eric trashing you (well, at least nothing similar to THIS. All you have to say(should say ) is "Eric has left the band due to personal reasons. We have no plans to work with him again." If anyone goes into ANY more detail than that, I want facts, not some pissed-off loudmouth opinion, especially from somebody who is also putting words in his other bandmates' mouths, whether they're true or not. Oh yeah, personally, if I were Eric Dover, I would wake you at 3am on a monday and personally stomp your fuckin' ass. There's an opinion. If you delete this off your board, do you know what you'll be? A fucking censor.
well...i was a big fan of Imperial Drag and it sucks that they are gone but what really is sad is that I broke my Imperial Drag album and I went to the record store and they said they do not make that album any more :( so I do not know if I will ever hear them again and that sucks. It wass one of my favorite albums and I want to do some covers of there songs but I can not do that if I never hear the songs again *sighs* that sucks.
